EICR remedial work, quoted within 24 hours
An unsatisfactory report isn't the end of the world. We'll explain what's wrong, send a clear quote within 24 hours, then carry out the work and confirm it in writing.
Typical remedial jobs
- missing or undersized earth bonding to gas and water pipes;
- damaged or loose sockets, switches and accessories;
- missing RCD protection on circuits that need it;
- faulty or missing circuit labelling;
- investigating and repairing faults found during testing.
Did another contractor carry out your EICR? That's fine. Send us the report and we'll quote for the remedials.
For landlords on a deadline
Landlords usually have 28 days to complete remedial work, or less if the report says so. A quote within 24 hours gives you the most of that time to approve the work and get it booked.
Bigger jobs
Some work in homes, such as replacing a consumer unit or adding a new circuit, is notifiable under Part P of the Building Regulations. At the moment we take on non-notifiable domestic work only. If your report calls for notifiable work, we'll tell you straight away so you can book it in good time. Commercial remedials are not affected.
